Lena Jones Lena Beecher Jones is currently working with the City of Tempe as a Senior Human Resources Analyst. She started her career in 1999 working as an Employment Services Analyst for the Maricopa County Human Resources Department. Other positions held at Maricopa County include Recruitment/Diversity Manager for the Library District and Compensation Analyst with the Total Compensation Department. Lena received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona and currently serves as a citizen member on both the City of Avondale Personnel Board and Public Safety Retirement Board (Police). This is her second time serving as a board member for the Arizona Chapter. Previously she served on the board from July 2004 to June 2006 and was the Program Committee Chairperson during that time.
