Suzanne
Machain
Suzanne currently serves as the Deputy Director for the City of Tucson Human Resources Department
and has worked in public service over 30 years. Her career experience includes
technical, professional, administrative and supervisory management work
in the areas of classification and compensation, recruitment and
selection, employee benefits, personnel information data management,
employee training and labor relations.
Suzanne’s
educational background includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Business Administration from the University
of Arizona and a Master of
Arts Degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona
University. She completed a course of study from Arizona State University
and earned certification as a Public Manager. She is a current member of the
International Public Management Association (IPMA), has served two board
member terms for Arizona HR-IPMA, and is a facilitator/trainer for
IPMA’s competency model training program.
