Dan Schmidt IPMA-HR-CP
Dan is a Human Resources Consultant with his own firm Schmidt Human Resources Associates. He has over thirty three years human resources experience in municipal human resources management. Dan served the City of Scottsdale in Human Resources for over twenty nine years, the last nineteen as Human Resources Director. Since his retirement from Scottsdale in 2003, he has completed a wide variety of human resources consulting projects for the Cities of Phoenix, Chandler, Apache Junction, Bullhead City and others. He is a human resources generalist with extensive experience in all areas of human resources. Dan has been a member of IPMA-HR for over thirty years and a member of Arizona IPMA since its inception. He has served on the Board of Arizona IPMA three times and has served in a leadership role for several IPMA conferences hosted by Arizona IPMA.
